When the United Methodist Church wanted to begin a new initiative to empower local clergy to host crucial conversations around human sexuality, they needed a symbol to embody their efforts for a new unity. The Space Between logo treatment is made up of two elements: the heart and the door. The door is an adaptation of the "Open Doors" principle of the United Methodist Church but also a representation of a fresh start. The heart represents God's love which is the first and last word of everything the organizations does. It was an honor to brand this huge initative that will bring peace and hope to many.
