Project Details

It all started when...

"... I watched a police officer kneel down on the neck of a black man so long that he killed him. I saw myself in George Floyd, I saw my brothers in George Floyd. I knew I had to use my voice to create a platform to challenge the status quo. I set out to create a project that was worthy of the respect that George Floyd was denied. I had seen one too many people who look like me fall victim to a broken system, so I decided to create something that could arm the people with the tools and resources they needed in order to keep them safe. This is that project. This is that platform." - Dr. J.D. Hyman

The Hyman Podcast focuses on the human experience from a narrative storytelling approach.

When we were approached about bringing Dr. Hyman's project to life, we began diving into the difficult conversations that the podcast would unfolding: The American Political System. Police Brutality, systemic racism, and more. Season One was going to be bold and raw, and the show's branding needed to match that tone. We set out to create a visual identity and content strategy that would match the ambition of the podcast's creator, Dr. JD Hyman.

Hyman a podcast that connects critical thinkers to the human condition through the art of storytelling. They give a voice and platform for honest conversations in order to tell stories that need to be heard. "We are more than just stories. We are a voice for the voiceless."

We are proud to have helped this podcast with their brand strategy and positioning, as well as social media strategy and content strategy. And yes, we still have the screenshot JD sent us when he got the news that he landed on Apple's New & Noteworthy list in only his second season.
